My family has owned a carpet cleaning company for years. We did traditional carpet cleaning in our county and some of the surrounding counties for an extra charge. When the levies broke in our town and caused severe flooding we decided to get trained in water damage cleaning. We thought this was a smart business move because of all the homes that were affected by the floods, and we were right. Our carpet cleaning client base has more than doubled since we started to advertise water damage cleaning. Since the levies were never repaired correctly we are always having floods and that means people will always need carpet cleaning companies.
